About Erich Spencer

Portait of Erich Spencer

I’m an Internet technology MacGyver. A hands-on technologist and Internet entrepreneur, I have a successful track record solving business problems with interactive technolgies.

I have a reputation for challenging conventional wisdom, simplifying complexity, and delivering quantifiable returns on investment.

I live, breathe, and teach this stuff. I started my professional career in television and radio production and eventually settled into digital post-production. From digital post I ventured into interactive multimedia and the World Wide Web.

I have been architecting, engineering, and producing large-scale, database-driven web sites since 1995. My first three projects were the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the National Gallery of Art, and Marriott Vacation Club.

My most recent successes include co-founding and growing the profitable B2B site PackExpo.com. In 2006, we assigned management and operation of Packexpo.com to BDMetrics, Inc.

Until May 2008, I continued to work with BDMetrics as chief architect and executive stakeholder for the development and launch of three more B2B community sites; MyPlasticsIndustry.com, NAB365.com, and SeafoodSource.com.

Today, I am busy running my Internet ventures company, Cendex LLC, and I continue to teach at the University of Baltimore as an adjunct professor for the School of Information Arts and Technologies.
